Description
SAMIprime K2/P is a specially prepared primer emulsion containing an SBS polymer modified bitumen base. It is designed as a prime for use on concrete and is ideally suited for use in enclosed areas, such as tunnels, due to its emulsified form. It also can be used on concrete bridge decks, other concrete structures and unbound compacted surfaces.
SAMIprime K2/P penetrates the fine pores of concrete between 0.5mm-1.0mm deep, depending on the porosity of the surface, filling them with a residual deposit of rubber. The carrier is also designed to penetrate and bind excess lime or cement in concrete surface layers.
